My name is Max Sannes and I have been living happily with my family in Diemen-Zuid for 23 years. Diemen is a beautiful, independent municipality. However, there are many things that could be improved. How do you do that? The municipality facilitates us as residents, but how does the municipality know what the residents want? I have joined Onafhankelijk Diemen and feel that my voice is heard here. I think the idea of neighborhood-oriented thinking is positive. Every neighborhood has its own layout and needs. Our municipality is growing with new neighborhoods. All these neighborhoods must also be safe.

Politics is a fascinating and comprehensive task, covering a wide range of topics. But it is about the interests of us, the residents of Diemen. We want clarity on the many issues with in-depth topics. Can’t that be clearer and easier? It is perfectly acceptable to question official decisions. Whether they are decisions about safety, finance, health, the environment, or public spaces. We ensure that your voice is heard on the policies that are pursued. I think that after the last coalition, we could use a refreshing view of politics, and a local party such as Onafhankelijk Diemen can certainly contribute to that.
