Less Amsterdam, more region

A significant amount of provincial funding from the transport region is being directed to Amsterdam. In the rest of the province, transport lines are being discontinued.

Diemen wants to extend tram line 19 to the Diemer forest. There is enough space to extend the tram line, but Amsterdam is unwilling to do so and has decided against it. It is time for fair tendering. We do get parking problems from Amsterdam, and fines do not benefit Diemen due to the Mulder law. All the money from parking fines goes to the state.

The solution:

Use the spacious parking lots as a P&R area. Extend line i9 to the Diemer forest so that commuters can take the tram to the city from there.

Amsterdam gets everything, the region pays for everything
