Angelique van Marion
Candidate for municipal council member
Candidate municipal council member Angelique van Marion has lived in Diemen for over 45 years. From the small town of Polderland, Angelique has seen Diemen grow into a large municipality. And, of course, there is always room for improvement. Angelique writes: “I have been asked to actively contribute ideas on issues that arise in the social domain. It’s fun, educational, and a pleasant break from my work and studies.” I am studying healthcare at university and enjoy working as an outpatient care worker (for people with disabilities) in the neighborhood. The theme I am researching and advocating for is improving social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities. All people, including those who have more difficulty keeping up, should feel welcome everywhere in our municipality. If you know someone who feels excluded, are concerned about a neighbor, have an idea about how social inclusion can be improved, or feel that something is missing, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am open to questions and comments and am happy to contribute my thoughts. Your voice matters. An inclusive society belongs to all of us!
You can reach me via the party’s email address or speak to me if you see me.
Kind regards,
Angelique van Marion
