How accurate is your WOZ determination?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Independent Diemen has investigated the valuation of real estate (WOZ). This is because many errors were found in the valuation reports that residents can request.\u2003The errors revealed in the valuation reports of the research were wrong photos of the houses, compare corner and middle houses, years and surfaces. Notable are the high valuations of homes due to overbids on homes being compared.\u2003The Valuation Chamber that independently assesses the WOZ of the Amstelland Municipal Tax Department endorses the recommendations of our investigation.\u2003The increase in complaints may be partly due to the fact that NoCure-NoPay companies have attracted many residents to object to the WOZ value. Diemen wants a Hospice in Diemen<\/strong><\/p>\n

We successfully introduced a motion marking a crucial milestone in the push for a hospice in Diemen. \u2003The City Council approved the motion indicating recognition of the growing need for palliative care within Diemen. \u2003We have appealed to the college with concrete steps to facilitate a meeting with all care providers, welfare institutions and volunteer organizations in Diemen. The goal is to jointly explore how we can realize support and care for a hospice.\u2003Independent Diemen has planted the first seed for a new facility offering comfort and care. We remain committed to this important initiative and call on the community to join us. Together, let’s build a place of comfort and care for our loved ones in difficult times.

Diemen first Diwali celebration 2024?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Municipality supports diversity and inclusiveness.\u2003The Municipality has fully expressed its support for the first ever Diwali celebration in Diemen. Diwali is the celebration of 1000 lights. This promises to be a celebration of diversity and an enrichment of cultural events in our municipality.\u2003Diwali, a cultural festival celebrated worldwide by Hindus, symbolizes happiness, success and health. What makes the Diemen Diwali celebration unique is that it goes beyond a traditional celebration. It is about connection and unity among all residents of Diemen regardless of origin and culture. \u2003The celebration also provides opportunities for local business owners to benefit from this vibrant event. Schools are encouraged to join the celebration. In this way, we can show young people how much fun it is to celebrate together while learning about different cultures. The power of diversity makes the Diemen Diwali celebration all the more beautiful!\u2003We invite enthusiastic initiators to participate and report to us. Windmills in Diemen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Onafhankelijk Diemen believes that the 3 locations specified by the Municipality of Diemen are not desirable.\u2003The idea of providing neutral energy is a current task for all municipalities in the Netherlands. But is a small municipality like Diemen responsible for this?\u2003Placing large wind turbines has no support from the residents of Diemen and the residents of the municipalities around us.If Diemen places wind turbines against the borders of Amsterdam-Weesp, residents of this municipality complain. Conversely, if Amsterdam places windmills against Diemen, residents from Diemen complain again.\u2003There are concerns about landscape change, noise pollution and the impact on flora and fauna. There may also be an impact on property values and health and life expectancy. We already have a task to build many more homes, is there room for the turbines? Surely there is a certain distance to build and live. \u2003First, let’s put solar panels on all roofs, where possible. Furthermore, also encourage businesses to participate. Should windmills do the energy job and do this to Diemen?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

New sports center on Sportpark Spoorzicht<\/strong><\/p>\n

Independent Diemen proposes a future-oriented plan to the municipality: Move sports center Duran to Spoorzicht. \u2003The financing of the new sports center, including a swimming pool of course, can be done through the sale of the current Duran location. \u2003The new sustainable sports center, inspired by the UVA Sports Center at Science Park, promises positive impact on the community. Preserving 80% nature on Spoorzicht shows care for flora and fauna. \u2002New affordable apartments on the old site, focused on social and middle rent, offer a welcome solution to the housing shortage. In short, a win-win solution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
